TRAINING CLASSES -- LEARN HOW TO FILL OUT OUR FORM

Welcome!  Here you can learn how to fill out our registration form. The entry boxes and buttons used on our form are displayed and explained below.

Below is a sample form.  Each item on the form explains how to use it.

SAMPLE FORM

Our form asks you to answer questions about who will attend which classes and when.  Each item on our form has a label, just like on  paper form, asking you  to provide that information.

There are different types of entry boxes that let you provide information in different ways.  These are the ones our form uses:

1.  Simple Text Box

    Your Name:

To answer: Simply click your mouse in the box and type the requested information. If you make a mistake, backspace to clear the contents.  When your answer is complete, click on the next item.

Try it in the box above.

2.  Drop-down List Box

     Choose One:

To answer: Click your mouse on the down arrowhead in the gray area and a list of choices will "drop down."  Click once on your choice. Go to next item.

Try it in the box above.

3.  Scrolling Text Box

     Comments?

To answer: Click your mouse in the box and start typing.  You can type more than one line, the text will automatically wrap as you continue to type.  The maximum number of characters is set by the form.  When you can type no more, you have reached that limit.   Once you have typed more than can be viewed in the visible area, the text will scroll up as you keep typing.  Click the up-and-down arrowheads to scroll up and down through the text if you want to re-read it. Then go to next item.

Try it in the box above.

There are also buttons on our form.

4. Submit and Reset Buttons

The Submit button sends the information you've entered to the company, just like Send does in email. If you have completed something in error or left something out, a  message window will pop up and tell you which item(s) you need to correct.   Return to the form to make the corrections and then click Submit again.  The error message will look like this

The Reset button clears the data out of all the boxes in the form, so that you can start from scratch.\

To Use: Click the button once with your mouse.

NOTE: For this tutorial, the Submit Button has been disabled.  But you can test the reset button by entering information in any of the boxes above, then clicking the Reset button to clear them.

5.  Browser's Back Button

When a form says to use Back Button on your Browser, it means to click on the button on your Internet Explorer toolbar...usually this is near the upper left.   It looks like the sample at right.

Thank you for taking this tutorial.  We hope it makes it easier for you to fill out our Registration Form.

Click your Back Browser now to go back to the Registration Form so you can register.
